The Welsh Plant a Tree for Every Child

In 2008, the Welsh Government made a pledge that they would plant a Welsh broadleaf tree for everytime a child is born in Welsh.

Also, Welsh happens to mean child in Welsh language.

The Welsh also cut a tree when a person dies to keep the ratio of people to tree same!
